FEATURED ARTIST ~BILL ENYART "I think of my art like I do my fishing, I don't think of myself as a fisherman yet when I really think about it, I've fished most all my life. Same with art.” But after years of plein air painting, glass work and spending a lifetime surrounded and expressing through various forms of art, not to mention winning prizes in several plein air events, finally Bill says he guesses he is a fisherman and also an artist. Bill will be doing a demo of his simple and clear approach to painting during the October reception of the Alla Prima Plein Air paintings, of which he will be a part. | SHOW DATES SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 31 | FIRST SATURDAY RECEPTION OCTOBER 3 1-4PM Alla Prima Westcliffe brought together plein air artists from around the country for a week in September. We invite locals, art lovers and collectors to experience newly created paintings inspired by the fleeting light and beauty of Colorado’s Wet Mountain Valley. Rich in place, atmosphere, and story, each original work is painted on location in the alla prima tradition. Twenty-two original works of art were sold at the Gala but there is still plenty of beautiful fine art to see and enjoy at 3rd Street Gallery. You can collect exceptional new works from this beloved plein air event.

| Smythe and Taylor (TC and Gary), have been playing shows for 25 years and have become well known for their harmonies, wide repertoire and songwriting. Gary won the Woody Guthrie Songwriting Award, and S&T were nominated in 5 categories of the Texas Music Awards, winning the “Popular Cover” and “Vocal Group of the Year” awards. Since 2009, S&T have co-hosted the High Peaks Music Festival in Westcliffe, Colorado, and have enjoyed a standing invitation to the Sweet Home Fest in Guildford, England since 2017.
