2nd Saturday Introductory Art Classes

From Drawing to Oils, these classes will provide you the basic understanding of tools, materials, and know-how to help you explore your creativity! You'll learn along side fellow creatives from a talented SAG artist.

Classes are $25, all supplies included.

Free Mentor-Led Creative Art Experience, For seniors 55+.

"Watercolor II" Led by Julie Hutslar - A continuation of "Watercolor Basics" held in May 2024.

Sangres Art Guild Presents:

Unkinking the Creative Hose: Using release techniques and watercolor painting to 'improve your creative flow'.

Join talented artist, Julie Hutslar while she leads you through this creative workshop. Her years of experience in painting and facilitating will help you to unleash blocks that may be holding back your creative flow.

Home School Classes

The pilot program for the Sangres Art Guild Home School Art Classes takes place on the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday from 1 - 2 p.m. at 3^rd Street Gallery until May 8. Currently there are 15 students split into 3 groups, K & 1^st graders, 2^nd - 4^th graders and 5 - 7^th graders with 10 children on the waiting list. We study the elements of art with in-class practice activities and have a lot of fun with art projects that support our curriculum.

Parents interested in enrolling their children for the 2024 Fall Program, or teachers interested in becoming an art teacher or a teacher's assistant in a paid position, please contact Liz VanSomeren, lvansomeren@sagboard.org.
