Sangres Art Guild (hereafter referred to as SAG), is committed to keeping any and all personal information we collect accurate, confidential, secure and private.  This policy pertains to SAG’s use of information collected from individuals who visit www.sangresartguild.org (hereafter referred to as Our Website), make use of our online and/or on-site facilities and services, and/or provide personal information in other forms not online. Our Privacy Policy has been designed so that individuals affiliated with SAG are assured of our commitment and obligation to meet or exceed existing privacy standards.

This Privacy Policy applies to SAG, and governs any and all data collection and use thereof. Through the use of Our Website and/or SAG’s non-website services you are herein consenting to the following data procedures expressed within this Policy. When you become a member or non-member contact of SAG, you give your consent to this Privacy Policy.

Collection of Information

SAG and Our Website collect various information such as:

• Voluntarily provided information that may include name, postal address, email address, phone number, etc.
• Information automatically collected when anonymously visiting Our Website is limited to IP address, page(s) visited, date/time of visit and browser used.

SAG will only collect information that you knowingly and willingly provide, such as in surveys, completed membership forms, emails, intake forms, waivers, etc. SAG will only use personal information for the purpose for which it is requested and any additional uses specifically provided on Our Website.

For all users with a login account on Our Website, which is all SAG members, we collect and store their login name, first and last names, email address, postal address, phone numbers, membership expiration date and any possible “family” relationships if they have a family membership. Non-member contacts do not have login accounts, but we will collect and store as much of the above information as is provided by the non-member contact.

The data we temporarily collect from all visitors to Our Website is limited to their IP address, pages visited, date/time of the visit and the browser they used. That anonymous information cannot be associated with a specific individual unless the visitor logs in, in which case our security software will temporarily associate the information with the logged in user.

Use of Information Collected

SAG may collect and may make use of personal information to assist in our operations and in the operation of Our Website and to ensure the delivery of the services we supply and that you need or request. At times, we may find it necessary to use personally identifiable information as a means to keep you informed of other possible products and/or services that may be available to you from SAG or Our Website. SAG may also be in contact with you in regard to completing surveys and/or research questionnaires related to your opinion of current or potential future services that may be offered.

SAG does not now, nor will it in the future, sell, rent, or lease any of our customer lists, names, contact lists or other contact information to any third parties.

SAG may disclose your personal information, without prior notice to you, if required to do so in accordance with applicable laws and/or in a good faith belief that such action is required in an effort to:

• Remain in accordance with any decrees, laws or statutes or in an effort to comply with any process which may be served upon SAG and/or Our Website.

SAG also uses a backup service where all of Our Website data is protected and contractually safeguarded.

SAG will not distribute membership lists, non-member contact lists or other contact information to SAG members or anyone else requesting it.

SAG may provide an individual member’s contact information (telephone number and/or email) to another SAG member from time to time for legitimate SAG business reasons.

SAG will not provide member contact information to non-members or customers; that information can be obtained via member’s business cards at SAG facilities or by website services.

Public Posts

Users of Our Website may not post information or communicate with other users via Our Website.

Unsubscribe or Opt-Out

Anyone who is on the SAG contact list (members and non-members) will always have the option to unsubscribe through a link at the bottom of SAG emails. However, it is highly recommended that members DO NOT unsubscribe as this will eliminate membership renewal reminders and other important SAG notifications.

Links to Other Websites

Our Website contains links to other websites. SAG does not claim nor accept responsibility for any privacy policies, practices and/or procedures of other websites. This Privacy Policy applies only to the information collected by Our Website and/or SAG’s non-website services.

Security

SAG shall endeavor to maintain adequate physical, procedural and technical security with respect to our offices and information storage facilities so as to prevent any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or modification of personal information under our control.

Our Website uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS) protocol and security software to stop malicious access to the site.

Our Website is WordPress based and as such, WordPress will set a “cookie” when a user logs in, in order to retain that log in for each page the user visits while logged in. Neither does Our Website set nor read “cookies” for anyone not logged in, i.e., just browsing.

To meet General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR in the EU) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), SAG will disclose to verified individual requestors the personal data we store about them and can erase their personal data upon request. SAG will retain some personal information about members for business purposes.

Changes to Privacy Policy

SAG reserves the right to update and/or change the terms of our Privacy Policy, and will post those changes to Our Website. If at any point in time SAG decides to make use of any information on file, in a manner vastly different from that which was stated when this information was initially collected, the user or users shall be promptly notified. Users at that time shall have the option as to whether or not to permit the use of their information in this separate manner.

Through the use of Our Website and/or SAG services, you are hereby accepting the terms and conditions stipulated with the aforementioned Privacy Policy.
